If you did not ask the person to "Pay It Forward" how come?
I did not ask him to pay it forward because my dad always return the kindness even without asking it. He also help people out already so I didn't have to remind a guy who always do nice of kindness to people and specially to his family.

Part 4
Why is the idea of "Pay it Forward" important?
Why I believe, Pay It Forward, is important is because, it teaches people to give, and  expect nothing to get, not to be selfish with each other, and if I have lots of stuff I should learn to give it people who needs it the most

Has your act of kindness made a difference?
I think my act of kindness doesn't make that much different except making the pathway less snowy, and also my dad didn't have to do it.

eden's pay it forward

Part 1
What is "Pay it Forward"
Pay it Forward is when you do an act of kindness for someone else for nothing in return. You do it for the people who may not be as lucky as we are, peoplewho don't have food, clothing, shelter etc. It's a good deed you do, it doesn't matter how long it took or what it is. It's the deed that counts, and if everyone did one or two deeds the world would be a better place.

Part 2

What was your Pay It Forward act of kindness? Why did you choose this activity? Who did you help?
What did you do?When did you do you act of kindness?

My pay it forward was gifts of hope, an oraganization where you buy stuff and it gets sent over to africa or wherever it needs to go. I also sponsored a child. I chose this activity because I thought it would be a good way to help lots of people. I helped families around the world. I filled out a order form then sent it to them with the money. I did my act of kindness on december 9 2012.

My overall cost was $144.000.

How did your act of kindness go?What Happened? How did you feel? How did the person or people react?Did you ask the person or people to "Pay It Forward"?How did they react to your request?
If you did not ask the person to "Pay It Forward" how come?

My act of kindness went well :) I paid for the stuff no problem. I felt proud that I paid money that would take a long time to get back to not only help, but change someones life! I don't know how the people will react but I know they'll be happy :) I didn't ask the people to pay it forward because I can't talk to them.

Part 4

Why is the idea of "Pay it Forward" important?Has your act of kindness made a difference?

The idea of pay ti forward is important because it teaches us all to give and that there are people less fortunate then us. My act of kindness has made a difference because famillies now have food and water. I just could'nt emagine having no food for a day...

PAY IT FORWARD :)

Arizza's Pay It Forward

Part 1:
" What is Pay It Forward? "
Pay it forward, is a movement, of act of kindnesses. You do good things, without expecting anything in return for it. Pay It Forward also represents, even doing little things, can make a big difference! To me, I think Pay It Forward, is when you do something, that hopefully makes them feel happy, and makes you feel good inside! When one person starts something good, and the people who he/she helped, looks up to him/her and does the same thing to other people. It's a helping-hand chain!

Part 2:
" What was Your Pay It Forward, act of kindness? "

Tina, Mikee, and I went to Winnipeg Harvest to help volunteer  on sorting out potatoes  and onions, into individual boxes for some hampers, for the Christmas Cheer board, that'll Harvest will be sending out to more then 54,000 people.

(Mikee holding a potato)

Why did you choose this activity?
We chose this activity to do, because we know how many families out there who don't get enough for Christmas, and instead of being happy and celebrating it, they have to stress on how to feed themselves, or supply their families. We thought, if we could at least help to package some hampers, we would feel good, and know that some of those families, won't be starving, or not have enough food for Christmas, and days to come.

Who did you help?
We helped Winnepeg Harvest, and also a bunch of also great citizens, sort out boxes and boxes of potato and onions.

What did you do?
We helped Harvest sort good potatoes, and also bad potatoes that have molds, and dents, also some onions.
When did you do you act of kindness?
We went to Winnipeg Harvest, on December 8th, 2012, around 9:00am, to volunteer.

Part 3:

How did your act of kindness go?
Our act of kindness went really well, we even had a great time!

What Happened?
We helped organize the potatoes into boxes, the good potatoes, and the bad potatoes, we threw into a
 huge garbage bin.

How did you feel?
After my experience, I felt good, and I know that'll whoever will be receiving the potatoes, and onions, won't have to worry about no food, and stuff like that. I also had a lot of fun there, because the people were so nice.

How did the person or people react?
Possibly, the people thought we were doing a great deed, especially how we're helping at a young age, and also other schools as well!

Did you ask the person or people to "Pay It Forward"?
They weren't many supervisors/volunteers around as much when we were working,
so we didn't get to tell them.. Sadly.
-How did they react to your request?
-If you did not ask the person to "Pay It Forward" how come?

Part 4:

Why is the idea of 'Pay it Forward' important? "
" Has your act of kindness made a difference? "

Why I believe, Pay It Forward, is important is because, it teaches people, like me, how to learn how to give, and not expect to get. Not to be selfish with each other, and also if I know, I already have enough, I should also give to people who are needing.

I think  that my act of kindness has made a difference because, first of all, I think I'm not alone, even if Tina, and Mikee were there, but also many others. I almost forgot to mention, that our Tour Guide, and also speaker to us, told us that many of the others who work at Harvest, not all get paid, they just go there to work, for their free time, and I thought it was amazing that people would actually do that!

*Here is also a video, that Tina and I made of our experience at Winnipeg Harvest!

How did they react to your request?
If you did not ask the person to "Pay It Forward" how come?
We didn't ask them to "Pay it Forward" because we already knew that they helped other unfortunate people, without asking for anything in return.

Part 4
Why is the idea of "Pay it Forward" important?
The idea of "Pay it Forward" is impportant because it helps the unfortunate people with some of their basic needs.
Has your act of kindness made a difference?
I think that my act of kindness has made a difference because I saw a lot of people helping at Winnipeg Harvest. Shelley told us the the receptionists (and others) go there on their free time, and they don't get paid. Which I thought was amazing. Because they help out others without expecting anything.

Can's Pay it forward

Part 1
Pay it forward is a way to help people, one people can help three, then three can help nine, and it gets bigger and bigger, and help more and more people.

Part 2
My pay it forward act of kindness was to pick up garbage.
I chose this activity because I saw lots of garbage on the ground so I thought to clean up the place.

Jessie's Pay It Forward

Part 1
What is "Pay it Forward". To complete this part please edit and revise the paragraphs that you wrote after watching the movie.

Pay It Forward is simple acts of kindness towards other people, and not asking for anything in return. It starts with one person and it can lead to a chain reaction of people doing good things for other people and those people doing it to other people, and so on. It doesn't have to be big. You can do something little and it can literally change a person's perspective on others and maybe even their life.

Part 2
What was your Pay It Forward act of kindness?
Why did you choose this activity?
Who did you help?
What did you do?
When did you do you act of kindness?

My act of kindness for Pay It Forward was donating food to Winnipeg Harvest. I chose this activity because I thought it about how much non-perishable foods that my relatives and I have that they probably won't be using. So I thought, "Hey, why not donate these?". I thought that instead of helping one person, I thought I could probably help a family or a few people that are hungry and can help out with food that can last the Winter season. I gathered food from my cousins and other relatives, also from my cabinet in my basement. I put them in a box and brought it down to Winnipeg Harvest. I brought it down at about 8:15 AM on December 4th 2012.

Part 3

How did your act of kindness go?
What Happened?
How did you feel?
How did the person or people react?
Did you ask the person or people to "Pay It Forward"?
How did they react to your request?

My act of kindness went better than I thought. I brought it down to Winnipeg Harvest and they asked me to weigh the box. Apparently the box was 25 kilograms. I felt great knowing that the food would help someone in need of a meal. The lady reacted very greatful that I donated food. She asked me if I wanted a thank you card sent to me, but I said no thanks. Instead I told her to Pay It Forward. They thought it was amazing that someone as me would try to make a change in the community that can spread to the world. They were very happy that I was trying to and I hope they Pay It Forward to someone else.

Part 4
Why is the idea of "Pay it Forward" important?
Has your act of kindness made a difference?

I think the idea of "Paying it Forward" is really important. I think it makes people think about what they could do to make a difference in their community instead of going on with their daily lives. I think it's also important that people know about what happens in their community and maybe anywhere else instead of only caring about their own needs. Which means they should care about others needs as well. I think that my act of kindness made a difference because you do not need to be an important person or do a special thing to make another person's day or make a difference in the community. I'm hoping that my act of kindness has made people aware that there are people in this city who care about them and want to help them with what they need.

Jessica Da Silva's Pay it Forward

Part 1

What is "Pay it Forward?"
Pay it Forward is the time when you do an act of kindness for someone in need. You do it for the people who may not be as lucky as we are. The one's who don't have food, clothing, shelter etc. It's the time where you put in some effort and make a difference. It's not just something that you do that only took 3 minutes or something that you just put together in less than 1 hour. It's when you make a change in someone's life by doing what you think you need to do to help this person by making their life so much better. This project is not about helping the whole world on your own. It's about taking it one step at a time and making a difference in 1 or 2 people's lives little by little and letting them know what "Pay it Forward" is about so that they can help others as well. This is supposed to be the process where we all Pay it Forward together and make the world a better place for all of us.

Part 2

What was your Pay It Forward act of kindness?
My act of kindness was baking 78 cake pops and selling them at my mom's work for $1.00 each. Then collecting all the money raised and donating the money to the Ladybug Foundation.

Why did you choose this activity?
I chose this act of kindness because I think by donating the money to the Ladybug Foundation will help those to spread awarenesses and raise funds to assist operating charitable organizations which provide food, shelter, and other needs of the homeless and near homeless in Canada.

Who did you help?
I helped the homeless or near homeless in need of food, shelter, and other important factors of life that we need to live our daily life.

When did you do you act of kindness?
I did my act of kindness on Friday November 30th, 2012 as well as Saturday December 1st, 2012.

Part 3

How did your act of kindness go?
My act of kindness went really well. I had a fun time "Paying it Forward" and spreading the word to others to "Pay it Forward" as well. It was such a great project to do and I had such a great time!

What Happened?
Well quite a bit of things happened. First, I made cake pops. Then I went to my mom's work and sold the cake pops there. I sold 78 cake pops for $1.00 which means I made $78.00. After, I donated the $78.00 to the Ladybug Foundation.

How did you feel?
I felt pretty excited that I was actually going to "Pay It Forward" and try to make a difference. After donating the money to the Ladybug Foundation, I felt super proud of myself. I couldn't believe that I actually made a difference. I was so proud!

How did the person or people react?
The people reacted kind've weirdly at the beginning because they had no idea what "Pay It Forward" actually was and what it mean't. After explaining it to them, they thought it was such a great project to do and they really wanted to get involved and "Pay It Forward" as well.

Did you ask the person or people to "Pay It Forward"?
I did ask the people at my mom's work to pay it forward by putting tags on the cake pops to let them know to "Pay It Forward" as well so the chain would continue.

How did they react to your request?
They thought it was an amazing stand that a young 12 year old girl was so interested in making a difference in the world and also taking the time to put so much effort into this project. Also, standing up for what she believes in and letting us know that we should "Pay It Forward" as well.

Part 4

Why is the idea of "Pay it Forward" important?
It is important because we need to take chance and stand up for those people in need that are to shy to ask for help in their lives. It is also important because people out on the streets today don't look up to future expectations like we do. After walking the streets, when the stars come out and the moon shines bright, these people don't have a place to sleep or even stay, unlike us. We have a cozy bed to sleep in and a roof over our heads everyday no matter where we are.

Has your act of kindness made a difference?
It has made a difference because I have changed the lives of some of those homeless people out on the streets today. I know there is still a lot more that need our help and I'm willing to spend my time helping those people as well even though it takes little steps to achieve a big goal and also it takes the effort of others as well as myself to make a BIG change in this world. So, if by myself I made a little change in the world, imagine how big the change would be if we all pitch in and do little things to make the world a better place. Sometimes the little things we do make a big difference to our life backgrounds.
