step 1.  Make sure the bottom number ( the denominator ) are the same .
step 2. add the top number ( the numerator ) put the answer over the denominator .
step3. simplify  the fraction ( if needed ) .

Example 1.

                                       1/4 + 1/4= 2/4= 1/2

Example 2.

                                        1/3 + 1/6=2/6= 1/3

Fiolo's Fraction Scribe Post

Rules in multiplying Fraction:
There are 3 simple steps to multiply fractions.
1. Multiply the top numbers (numerators).
2. Multiply the bottom numbers (denominator).
3. Simplify the fractions if needed.

Example:

1×2
25
Step 1: Multiply top numbers.
Step 2: Multiply bottom numbers.

Step 3: Simplify the fraction.

Multiplying fraction with whole numbers.

2×5
3
Make 5 into 5/1 :
2×5
31
Now just proceed as normal.
Multiply tops and bottoms:
2×5=2 × 5=10
313 × 13
The fraction is already as simple as it can be.
Answer =  10

or 3 1/3

Part 4
Why is the idea of "Pay it Forward" important?
Why I believe, Pay It Forward, is important is because, it teaches people to give, and  expect nothing to get, not to be selfish with each other, and if I have lots of stuff I should learn to give it people who needs it the most

Has your act of kindness made a difference?
I think my act of kindness doesn't make that much different except making the pathway less snowy, and also my dad didn't have to do it.

Marie Ann's Fraction Scribepost

1. Number Line
2.Addition
3. Words

When you are doing words all you have do is change "×" to groups of.

Make your number line and multiply the numbers you have and start to jump (whatever you want to call it)  if your question is 3 x 1/2 then you jump three 1/2..

    For addition you take the fraction  (for example you have 6 x 1/2) you write 1/2 + 1/2 +  1/2 + 1/2...............
